Die aktivierung fehlt nicht, die ist vorhanden und aktiviert. Es werden nur keine Netzwerke (und das müssten mehrere sein) angezeigt.

klar. Ich bin kein Computerexperte und auch nicht mehr der Jüngste."Die Technik ist nicht einfach, aber beherrschbar, denn nicht die Technik ist das Problem, es ist die Handhabung derselben, alle Schritte müssen in einer bestimmten Reihenfolge erfolgen, sonst gibt es Salat.
Gut, ich hatte wohl ein ähnliches Problem, die Lösung ist es in YaST2 von ifup auf Networkmanger umzustellen, alle notwendigen Treiber mittels LAN installieren und dann den Scanner das WiFi-Signal suchen lassen, natürlich nachdem das LAN-Kabel deaktiviert wurde, manchmal dauert es etwas.
Bei Problemen im Statusfeld oben rechts das Symbol für Bearbeiten anklicken, im Netzwerk-Verbindungsfenster dann den WiFi-Accesspoint auswählen und editieren, sprich Passwort eingeben und neu verbinden, falls dies nicht geht diesen Accesspoint löschen, dann den Scanner einen neuen Anlauf nehmen lassen und bei geschütztem Accesspoint Zugriff das Passwort eingeben und los geht es.
Probiere das mal, jede Wette es klappt.

Stecke ein Netzwerkkabel an, sodass Du ins Netz kommst, und installiere aus dem Packman Repo:
Ansonsten herunterladen und per Hand installieren.

Danke, das wars dann! Ich hab die beiden Pakete installiert, neu gestartet und jetzt funktionierts einwandfrei. Somit wären alle Hardwareprobleme gelöst, es war zum Glück sowieso das Einzige, alles andere hat sofort funktioniert.

Dann hast Du noch etwas gelernt:
- Ausgabe in Code-Tags erstellen.
- Mit den richtigen Informationen kann man sehr oft schnell und gezielt helfen.........Übrigens hätte wahrscheinlich auch die Installation von kernel-firmware geholfen........

Mit erstem, bin ich ja gleich klar gekommen , die Paketnamen in Yast eingeben und dann kann beides installiert werden. Mit dem zweiten, der Installation von Kernelfirmware, blicke ich schon mal wieder gar nicht richtig durch. Aber jetzt funktionierts ja sowieso und ich merk mir die benötigten Pakete, falls ich mal neu installieren müsste.
