In einer Petition schlägt eine Gruppe von Anwendern KDE Plasma als Standardoberfache für Ubuntu 18.04 vor. Als Grund werden Unzulänglichkeiten von Gnome und eine größere Nähe von Plasma zu Unity genannt.
