Hallo liebe Gemeinde,
ich habe folgendes Problem: auf meinem Laptop werden zwei Screens nebeneinander angezeigt.
Erste Recherchen haben ergeben, dass das wohl mit dem X-Server zu tun hat.
Info zum System: openSuse leap 42.3
Einige in diversen Foren gefundene Befehle haben Folgendes angezeigt:
cat: /etc/X11/xorg.conf: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
user1@linux-83rj:~> xrandr | fgrep '*'
1366x768 60.00*+
1024x768 60.04* 60.00
Da sind wohl 2 Bildschirme nebeneinander eingestellt. Der obere ist der, den ich brauche. Der andere ist rechts
außerhalb des Monitors. (Zur Zeit befindet sich dort der Dolphin, an den ich aber mit meinen Kenntnissen nicht ran komme.)
Ich suche also eine Möglichkeit, diesen zweiten Bildschirm (vga-2) abzuschalten.
Nachfolgend noch ein paar Angaben, die vielleicht dabei helfen, das Problem weiter einzugrenzen:
