Im Westen nichts Neues. Handy eingesteckt und auf MTP umgeschaltet, dann mtpfs als root aufgerufen und die gleiche Fehlermeldung wie sonst erhalten:

Leider ist /dev/sr0 das falsche Gerät, es handelt sich dabei um eine Pseudo-CD, auf der für Windows ein Autostart-Setup für die Huawei HISuite.exe liegt. Im Ordner Document liegt noch eine pdf mit Notizen zum Copyright, sonst nichts.

Das Handy gibt sich nämlich als zwei Geräte aus, die auch als zwei Einträge in der Plasma-Taskleiste angezeigt werden. Einer als optische Disk "My CDROM", den ich schon immer problemlos mit dem Filebrowser öffnen konnte und auf dem nur diese paar Dateien sind, und ein zweiter als tragbarer Medienspieler "EVA-L09", über den ich (seit kio_mtp) Zugriff auf die eigentlichen Dateien auf dem Handy kriege.
Nein, das ist schon in Ordnung.
Dein Huwei spiegelt der Linuxkiste vor, es wäre zwei Geräte: einmal eben das Smartphone und dann wäre es noch ein CDROM.
Das ist normal.
Es gab früher®™ zwei prinzipiell verschiedene Interfaces für Festplatten. Einmal das herkömmtliche IDE (zuerst InexpensiveDiskDEvices unbenannt zu IntegratedDiskDEvice) und das wesentlich leistungesfähigere SCSI (SmallComputerSystemsInterface).
Mit Kernel 2.6.x wurden die verschiedenen I/O Systeme verheinheitlicht.
Ab da wurden alle Festplatten und CD/DVDs einheitlich behandelt.
Man merkt das noch heute: Grub verwendet noch die "alte" Namensgebung hdX (== harddiskX); die meisten Linuces /dev/sdX (==ScsiDiskX).
Dieses Benennungsschema kann man sogar ändern, wovon strikt abzuraten ist. Aber es geht.
Da nun alle Massenspeicher von einem einheitlich Subsystem verwaltet werden, also auch CD/DVDs, erkennt man solche "Scheibengeräte" auch am Namen ihres Devicefiles. /dev/sr0 ist nichts anderes, als ein ScsiReadonlyGerät, also ein nicht beschreibbares Blockdevice.
Dass Huwei nun dein Smartphone so konfiguriert, dass es aus Sicht von Linux zwei Geräte sind, ist einfach erklärt:
Sie stellen damit den Windowsleuten eine "MiniCD" mit den zur Installtion nötigen Treibern und Programmen auf einfach Weise bereit. Stöpselt man das Huwei an, so erkennt Windows eine TreiberCD (samt irgendwelchen "Nutzprogrammen") und eben das Smartphone selbst.
Es ist völlig normal, dass ein USB- Gerät mehrere verschiedene Geräte(konfigurationen) bereitstellt. Eine billige Webcam bringt meist schon zehn, bis zwanzig verschiedene Geräte mit. Einmal nur ein Micro, das andere Mal eine "StandbildKamera), und dann natürlich mehrere Videokameras. für jede Auflösung/Format eines.
Insgesamt sieht es für mich so aus, als wäre alles in Ordnung. Du hast Zugriff und kannst alles tun.
Was ich noch nicht vestanden habe, ist, was du meinst mit dem "Umschalten auf mtp im Smartphone"?
Wie geht das __genau__? Was tust du da __exakt__?
Es könnte gut sein, dass du damit in einem solchen "Verwaltungsprogramm für Windows" auf deinem Huwei rumbastelst.
Und das könnte schon die Ursache für deine Schwierigkeiten sein.
(ich kann das alles nicht nachvollziehen, habe ich doch 42.3 auf der Kiste und Android 8 im Phone; und da tut alles einfach)
