Nach einem Update heute morgen habe ich Tumbleweed als 1. Betriebssystem. Opensuse leap ist zwar in Grub vorhanden, startet aber nur noch bis zur Kommandozeile mit der Aufforderung entweder STRG D oder root Passwort eingeben. Wie bekomme ich Opensuse Leap wieder zum Laufen und Tumbleweed wieder entfernt.

Ich habe automatisches update eingestellt und dann über die Kontrollleiste das update aktiviert.

Schon ein Rollback (mit Snapper, falls BTRFS als Dateisystem) getestet?

Rollback habe ich nicht probiert, da ich das nicht kenne, aber Opensuse Leap 15 hatte schon einmal nach einem Update das Problem, das ich auf der Kommandozeile landete. Danach habe ich Opensuse Leap neu installiert. Es lief danach vollkommen stabil bis zum Update heute morgen.

Das ist Unsinn! Aus einem Leap wird kein Tumbleweed! Never ever. Da hat immer! der User seine Hände im Spiel. Stichwort Einklicker etc.
