Hallo zusammen
Nach mehrjähriger Abstinenz (ja, ich habe es vermisst) hat es sich für mich ergeben, mich einmal wieder mit Linux beschäftigen zu dürfen. Naja, über die Jahre ist mein gesamtes Wissen irgendwie nach /dev/null abgeflossen und ich fühle mich wieder wie der blutigste Anfänger.
Daher hoffe ich, ich habe das richtige Forum gewählt und meine Frage ist nicht allzu blöd
Also hier die Daten, die ich euch geben kann:
Ich habe einen alten MSI Nettop nach Jahren mal wieder hochgefahren. Bei der letzten Nutzung hate ich ihn erfolgreich in mein privates Heimnetz eingebunden. Es lief ein LAMP und ich konnte den Webserver über eine statische IP von den anderen Rechnern in meinem Netzwerk erreichen.
Mein Netzwerk ist ein einfaches C-class 192.168.1.x mit 192.168.1.1 als Router zum Provider.
Mein Nettop-Linux hat Suse Linux Enterprise Server 10 Sp 1 mit nem Gnome Desktop.
Das Netzkabel, welches ich mit meinem Linux-Lamp-Rechner verwende, ist richtig angeschlossen und in Ordnung. Wenn ich meinen Windows-Laptop an das Kabel anschliesse, bekomme ich sofort eine IP und kann auch ins Inet.
Nun verwende ich dieses Netzkabel an meinem Linux und erhalte folgenden Effekt:
1) DHCP funktioniert nicht
(Ist eigentlich egal, da ich eh eine statische IP brauche, um den Webserer intern bei mir erreichen zu können)
2) Ich kann eine statische IP 192.168.1.88 vergeben und von dem Rechner selbst so auch Apache und meine Webseiten erreichen. Unter http://192.168.1.88 auf Mozilla kriege ich mich also.
3) Nach außen kann ich gar nichts erreichen. Ein Ping auf das Gateway 192.168.1.1 geht ebenso ins Leere wie ein Ping auf Nachbargeräte wie einer meiner Laptops 192.168.1.112. Andersrum vom Laptop auf den Linux geht der Ping ebenfalls ins Leere.
4) Die Netzkarte zeigt bei eingestecktem Kabel eine grüne LED und eine gelb blinkende LED. (Ist doch eigentlich normal oder?)

Also eigentlich ist ja alles eingestellt. Am Default Gw kanns nicht liegen, da ich ja noch nicht einmal Adressen im C-Netz anpingen kann oder?
Habe über Yast mit und ohne Networkmanager eingestellt, für mich kein sichtbarer Unterschied.
Das Kabel ist getestet und ok, läuft ja mit anderem Rechner.
Kann die Netzwerkkarte einfach kaputt sein?
Oder habe ich einfach nur was ganz blödes übersehen? Die Firewall habe ich einfach mal ausgeschaltet.
