Die Fehlermeldung von krandrtray (=KRandRTray) lautet

display-randr(13027): KUniqueApplication: Cannot find the D-Bus session server: "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."

display-randr(13026): KUniqueApplication: Pipe closed unexpectedly.

Übrigens:

(1) eine xorg.conf mit Xorg -configure erzeugen und in /etc/X11/ schieben und anschliessendem reboot wird einfach ignoriert.

(2) XRandRTray aus dem kdebase4-workspace kollabiert beim start

Ich habe ein ähnliches Problem mit opensuse 12.1: Der Display Manager fährt beharrlich mit einer 1024x768 Auflösung nach dem Login hoch. Die entsprechenden Dateien wurden bereits aufbereitet (siehe unten), LXDE startet korrekt mit 1680x1050 aber eben alle anderen nicht. Immerhin funktioniert kdm wieder (startx)

Wo zum Teufel holt sich 12.1 seine Standard-Einstellung 1024x768 und wie lässt sich das ändern.

Hat jemand eine Idee ?

mit YaST lässt sich die Einstellung überprüfen im /etc/sysconfig/ Editor. Dort ist die richtige Auflösung 1680x1050 ausgewählt
