    Hab jetzt 42.2 mit "nomodeset" installiert. Hab jetzt ja nur die 640er Auflösung. Welchen Grafiktreiber installiere ich jetzt?

  • Nach Update von 13.2 auf 42.2 startet KDE nicht mehr

    Eines möchte ich mal klar stellen: Ich weiß was ich tue und was ich nicht tue! Ich habe nichts "von Hand" gemacht und auch nichts "eingeklickert". Ich habe gestern lediglich die SW-Aktualisierung gestartet (wie schon so oft). Wie die 42.2er Repos da reinkommen, weiß ich wirklich nicht (evtl. durch eine SW, die nur unter 42.2 läuft. Die Installation wurde aber abgebrochen, evtl. wurden aber 42.Repos eingetragen; sollte aber eigtl. nicht sein, oder??). Ich werde bei Gelegenheit 42.2 installieren. Danke für die Hilfe.Bekomme ich dann evtl. Probleme mit der Grafikkarte? Ich kenne das Bumblebee-Problem nicht.

    Ich habe nicht "freiwillig" upgedatet sondern gestern den Hinweis erhalten, dass Aktualsierungen vorliegen und diese dann gestartet. Habe erst später bemerkt, dass das ungewöhnlich viele sind, aber da wurde schon installiert. Warum werden denn 42.2 Aktualisierungen eingespielt wenn ich 13.2 habe? So kam wohl das Mischmasch zustande. Es war von mir nicht beabsichtigt und auch nicht gewollt. Wäre mit 13.2. zufrieden. Jetzt habe ich den Salat!

  • Nach Update von 13.2 auf 42.2 startet KDE nicht mehr

    Gestern wurde per SW-Aktualisierung auf 42.2 upgedatet. System lief danach. heute wollte ich 42.2 starten, die Oberfläche startet aber nicht. Nur ein schwarzer BS und der Mauszeiger zu sehen. Nach einiger Zeit kommt die Fehlermeldung "No system tray detected on this system- Unable to start, exiting"
