Die LinuxTV Wiki bringt (zumindest mich) nicht wirklich weiter. Da werden zwar die ganzen HW Dezails usw gelistet, aber wenn es interessant werden könnte ( ab "Making It Work") kommt nichts mehr.
Dann gibt es da noch eine LinuxTV-Wiki, die sich auf die WinTV 2250 bezieht. Danach bin ich auch mal vorgegangen. Dann wird zwar die WinTV 2250 erkannt, aber Kaffeine oder andere Programme schweigen sich weiter aus.

Meine Frage war ja auch mehr in die Richtung gedacht, dass es vllt jemanden gibt, der das Ding schon zum Laufen bekommen hat.
Das sieht leider nicht so aus.

Ich bedanke mich herzlich für Eure Mühen. Sollte mir eine gute Fee (oder Feerich - heißen männliche Feen so? ) die Lösung flüstern, werde ich sie hier auf jeden Fall posten.

An Alero: Nun ja, die Repoliste mag konfus sein, aber mein Leap 42.1 läuft stabil. Ich gebe es ja zu: Ich bin kein Linux-Experte, eher sowas wie ein DAU. Deswegen ersuche ich ja um Hilfe. An der Konsole habe ich so gut wie null Erfahrung. Ich mache alles über YaST oder Ein-Klick-Installationen. Okay, dann müllt sich Linux offenbar ebenso zu wie Windows aber es läuft trotzdem besser. Eigentlich suche ich nur nach einer Befehlsfolge, die meinem Linux erklärt, dass mein Stick ein Dual-TV-Tuner ist und das ebendieses Kaffeine kapiert. Ich werde mich drum kümmern, die Repoliste zu verschlanken. Aber eigentlich geht es mir erst einmal darum, dass ich auch mit diesem Stick TV schauen kann ohne auf Windows 10 umschalten zu müssen.

Hallo.

Habe mir den o.a. TV-Stick bestellt. Leider komme ich bei der Konfiguration der Tuner nicht weiter.
YaST2-TV lässt sich wegen eines Repository-Fehlers (irgendetwas mit den Meta-Daten) installieren.
Also habe ich das alte TV-Card Modul aus SuSe 12.1 istalliert.

Allerdings ist der doch relativ neue TV-Stick in HW Liste nicht verzeichnet.

Weiß jemand Rat, wie ich das Problem lösen kann?
TV Tuner sind ja nichts grundsätzlich neues. Nur dass der WinTV dual HD neben DVB-C ubnd DVB-T halt schon DVB-T2 kann.

Hauppauge unterstützt Linux gar nicht mehr.
Ich weiss auch nicht, wo ich die firmware herbekomme...
