    hallo


    ich melde mich mal wieder mit einem Problem.
    Und zwar erkennt Linux mein Floppy-Laufwerk nicht.
    Ich habe in fstab und mtab kein Eintrag dafür.
    Wie muss dieser Eintrag aussehen und was muss ich sonst noch machen, um mein Diskettenlaufwerk einzubinden.
    Danach möchte ich fragen, ob folgender Link eine Lösung zur Erstellung einer Bootdisk ist.

    Hallo Mark,
    der gleiche Fehler ist wieder aufgetreten. Ich habe im Failsafe Mode gebootet um den Bootmanager wiederherzustellen. Ist mir leider nicht gelungen. Danach habe ich es mit Supergrub probiert,-leider auch ohne Erfolg.
    So bleibt mir nur noch die Neuinstallation von XP und SUSE.
    Gibt es die Möglichkeit, den Bootloader von einem USB-Stick zu laden oder die Möglichkeit von Diskette aus zu booten?

    ich habe mal etwas anderes versucht. Ich habe mithilfe von SMART meine Festplatten mal durchchecken lassen, ob die irgendwelche Fehler haben. Bei der Linux-Festplatte trat kein Fehler auf, jedoch bei der Windows Festplatte bekomme ich folgendes:

    Was soll das mir sagen und wie kann ich es beheben?

    also, es hat nicht geklappt. Habe die menu.lst so abgeändert, wie du es gesagt hattest.
    Als ich dann den PC neu gestartet habe, war der Grub nicht zu sehen und der PC war extrem langsam. Habe nun die ursprüngliche Konfiguration wiederhergestellt. Kann nun Linux wieder starten, aber Windows weiterhin nicht.
    Jedoch steht nun wieder die Festplatte von Windows im Partition-Manager.
    Würde es Abhilfe schaffen, wenn ich unter Windows ein fixmbr mache oder zerschießt das mir den Grub komplett?

    ich habe versucht mit der DVD den Bootloader wieder herzustellen,-was aber nicht gelang.
    Ich habe window auf einer Festplatte und Linux auf einer anderen, so daß es völlig getrennt sein müsste. Wenn ich die menu.lst Datei öffne, habe ich folgenden EIntrag für Windows:
    title Windows
    rootnoverify (hd1,2)
    chainloader (hd0,0)+1


    Das müsste doch eigentlich korrekt sein, oder ?
