    danke noch mal für Vorschlag. Aber es funkioniert immer noch nicht.


    # zypper se -si xorg-x11 (ergibt viele Paketen , ich kann nicht tippen) aber es scheint, dass aller paketen schon aktualiesiert.



    Zum upgade habe ich mit


    1. Yast2 ----> xorg-x11 gesucht ------> und update


    2. (wie du mir vorgeschlagt) als root # zypper in -f xorg-x11



    3. #zypper ve


    4. #zypper lr -d


    5. #zypper dup



    # zypper in xorg-x11
    Loading repository data...
    Reading installed packages...
    'xorg-x11' is already installed.
    No update candidate for 'xorg-x11-7.5-11.3.i586'. The highest available version is already installed.
    resolving package dependencies...


    Nothing to do.






    Aller paketen schon aktualisiert ....

    ich habe alles gemacht was du vorgeschlagt hast. Aller paket installiert werden.


    das Ergebnis :


    (als root) # startx

    ........
    ........


    Fatal server error :
    no screens found


    ........
    ......


    giving up.


    xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2) : unable to connect to Xerver
    xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.


    das war.. any idea?

    zypper in xorg-x11


    eingebe, dann kommt diese Meldung raus.


    # zypper in xorg-x11

    das war und mein startx functioniert immer nocht nicht.

    ich kann my notebook with opensuse 11.3 nicht benutzen, weil es kein startx gibe. (no screen found) ich habe ein Tag lang versucht, X.org zu konfiguriert. Aber es klappt nicht.


    mein zypper lr -d

    nachdem mein Yast und aller program nicht mehr aufgerufen werden(vieler Paketen werden gelöst), versuche ich noch mal neu update von opensuse 11.3 DVD zu starten(ich kann nicht neu installieren, weil ich sehr viele wichtige dateien in notebook habe). Neu Update hat geklappt


    nun kommt neues Problem ! es gibt nur konsole menu ... no KDE ! ich habe als root in konsole eingelogt und tipe ´startx´


    ' no startx installed '




    was soll ich weite machen..

    ich habe paket xorg-x11-libs in Yast gefunden, aber das Paket schon installiert. dann ich versuche das paket zu deinstallieren and noch mal das paket neu zu installieren.


    das Ergebnis is nun schlect, weil Yast aller dateien lösen.


    ich kann Yast nicht mehr aufrufen T.T

    ich versuche gnuplot aufzurufen nachdam ich opensuse11.1 auf opensuse11.3 installiert und kam diese Meldung


    gnuplot: error while loading shared libraries: libXaw8.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory



    ich habe die Datai ' libXaw8.so.8 ' in Yast gesucht, aber nicht gefunden.


    kann jemand mir helfen ..

    i try to search ' libXaw8 ' and ' xorg-x11-libs - ' at yast from all of my repo and no results


    i look again at /usr/lib and i didnt find this file ' libXaw8.so.8 '



    can you explain more what should i do ... i am really newbie for unix and linux

    i am a linux newbie and just upgade opensuse 11.1 to 11.3 after finish and i cannt use program gnuplot any more. at konsole it show like this



    gnuplot: error while loading shared libraries: libXaw8.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory



    can anybody help me ???
