Hallo,
ich habe nun die vergangenen Tage geglaubt, das mit der Hilfe hier alles bestens eingerichtet war. Als ich heute meinen PC vollkommen normal herunter gefahren habe und dann nach einer Stunde neu startete, waren die Grafikeinstellungen im Eimer.
Ich habe SuSE 11.1 64-bit, KDE 4.3.1, GFORCE GTS250 und Monitor Philips 170S2.
Der nvidia-Treiber meint aber nur eine CRT-Monitor zu kennen. In den Displayeinstellung kann ich nichts anderes auswählen. Irgendwie ist, warum auch immer, beim Herunterfahren die Information über den Monitor verloren gegangen.
Auch das mehrfach neue Installieren der nvidia-Treiber hat nichts gebracht. Ich weiß nicht, wie ich Ihm beibringe, dass er den richtigen Monitortyp auswählt/verwendet und zwar im 1280x1024-Modus, zumal er ihn schon benutzt hatte und alles perfekt funktionierte.

Da steht doch 1280x1024, was muss ich denn noch veranstalten? Na und dass die 3D-Funktionalitäten hinüber sind, ist ja wohl klar!? Ich stehe kurz vor dem Verzweifeln.
