auf meinem Medion Desktop PC habe ich neben XP openSuse 11.3
installiert,lief alles sehr gut sämtliche Hardware wurde erkannt auch
die WLAN Verbindung mit dem rt2500usb Treiber wurde gleich erkannt, der
Wlan Router Easy Box 802, wird vom Networkmanager gleich erkannt, kann
aber trotzdem nicht mit Firefox ins Internet gehen, der Networkmanager
in der Taskleiste meldet das ich verbunden bin.
Eine Firewall ist nicht aktiv.
In Yast habe ich die Wlan Karte auf nicht konfiguriert gelassen
und mit dem Networkmanager die Wlan einstellungen gemacht, wie ich es
auch unter ubuntu 9.04 soweit hinbekommen habe auf meinem Notebook.
Ich habe mit dem Networkmanager die IP Adresse manuell
eingestellt auf 192.168.2.103 und auch sonst die kofiguration von
meinem Notebook übernommen.
Ich hatte auf dem Desktop PC auch schon mal 9.04 ubuntu installiert wo ich auch mit ins Internet gehen konnte
In der Taskleiste ist das Wlan Symbol zu erkennen mit einem kleinen Pfeil.
Der Unterschied in der iwconfig von meinem Notebook zu dem Desktop PC ist in der Encription Key die bei DesktopPC auf off steht.
Muss ich vielleicht noch Firmware nachinstallieren, weil der rt2500usb Kernel Modul vielleicht nicht mit der neuen Distribution nicht klar kommt
