Die Vorschläge von Kanonentux und uhelp haben leider keinen Erfolg gebracht. Beim Router habe ich zwischenzeitlich auch die Verschlüsselung deaktiviert. Die Fehlermeldung ist gleich geblieben, also das Routerpasswort scheint es nicht zu sein.

bin gerade bei der Installation von Opensuse 12.3 bei einen HP Compaq 6710b.
Bei der Konfiguration des Netzwerkadapters komme ich nicht weiter. Network Manager ist aktiviert, jedoch kommt beim WLAN ständig die Fehlermeldung "Autorisierung erwartet".
Die Ausgabe des Script von Collectnwdata habe ich in den Anhang gestellt.
Für Vorschläge bin ich immer dankbar.

Ich hatte in xp den neuen freigegeben Speicher unter Verwalten nicht sehen können.
Das war ja auch meine erste Idee, dort einfach die neue leere Partition zu nutzen.
Aber jetzt läuft es wie es soll

Ich habe kurzer Hand xp neu installiert und entsprechend den Speicher angepasst.
Der Geiz mit dem Speicher passiert mir nicht noch mal...

so siehts aus:dynamisch belegt mit differentieller Speicherung
Hallo Zusammen,
leider war ich zu geizig beim Platz für mein XP Image in der Virtual Box.
Das rächt sich nun mit fehlenden Speicherplatz...und ich kann eine Anwendung nicht mehr installieren.
Folgendes habe ich probiert um den Speicherplatz zu erhöhen:
VBoxManage modifyhd <Pfad zur VDI-Datei> --resize <Größe in Megabyte>
In der VBox wird jetzt die neue Größe angezeigt, jedoch zeigt XP die alte Festplattengröße und beim Verwalten wird auch keine extra bzw. leere Partition angezeigt.
Könnte man ein neues Image mit mehr Speicherplatz erzeugen und das jetzt existierende dort einspielen?

seit heute kann ich mein OpenSuse 12.2 nicht mehr starten. Im Bootloader kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:
Loading Linux 3.4.11-2.16-desktop...
Fehler: Datei >>/boot/vmlinuz/3.4.11-2.16/desktop<< nicht gefunden
Loading initial ramdisk....
Fehler: Sie muessen zuerst den Kernel laden.
Im Recovery Mode kommt genau das selbe.
Weiss jemand was man da machen koennte....
