xinetd ist doch ein Dienst, was vsftp benötigt.

Warum installierst Du nicht ein aktuell unterstütztes Betriebssystem?
z.B. openSUSE 13.1?
Wird Evergreen (3 Jahre Support).
Wir hatten es installiert, da war es schon recht lange auf den Markt, und mit der neuen
Version kam Suse nicht rüber.
z.z. laufen dort noch Scripte, die unter PHP 5.4 nicht laufen, die werden gerade umgestellt,
dann kommt 13.1 rauf.

Ich habe hier eine ältere Suse 12.1
Leider will vsftp nicht startet.
(xinetd läuft glaube ich )
Ich habe noch ein Suse 12.2 Server mit funktionieren vsftp,
wo ich die Konfig 100% übernommen habe,
Aber "rcvsftpd start" sagt:

Das neue Suse 13.1 bietet schon eine Aktuelle PHP 5.4 Version.
Daher ist die Frage auch eher generell gestellt,
wie man PHP Updatet, also hier von 5.4 auf 5.5

Nun gibt es ja die Ivy Brige CPU von Intel, da ich nun die Tage einen neuen Server zusammen baue,
werde ich natürlich ein IVY verbauen.
Der alte H61 Chipsatz & Sandy Brige liefen gut unter Suse.
Hat jemand schon mal ein Aktuelles Suse auf ein neuns MB mit Z68/Z70 installiert?
Es geht hier nur um die Grundfunktion wie Netzwerk, Grafik.
Sound/USB3 ist egal ob es läuft, weil dort nur ein Webserver/Mailserver laufen soll.
Typ:
Immer eine Stromspar CPU nehmen, bei Intel sind es die mit ein T am Ende z.B.
2390T mit 35W! wobei es auch xeon mit 30W gibt, aber dann ohne Garfikteil!
Als Mainboard für Suse nehme ich immer Asus, das ist immer Problemfrei!
