Wie kann ich denn Modutils installieren - mit Yast find ich das nicht ... !? - muss ich mir das erst herunterladen ?

Da steht,dass unter Ndiswrapper keine Verschlüsselungen funktionieren, versteh ich das richtig, dass ich also nicht auf ein verschlüsseltes Netzwerk zugreifen kann, weil dann kann ich's eh gleich vergessen

Alles klar, dann deaktiviere ich mal den Networkmanager. Mit ein bissl Frust kann ich umgehn, ich will ja auch lernen wie man mit Linux umgeht ...
Kannst du mir vielleicht zur "traditionellen" methode ein bissl mehr sagen ?

Also ich bin Linux-Neuling und wollte mir mein WLAN mittels USB-Stick (Netgear WG111T) einrichten. Seit ein paar Tagen habe ich deswegen alle möglichen (passenden) Anleitungen gesucht und ausgeführt - ohne Ergebnis !
Habe dann folgendes Script gefunden : collectNWData.sh - dass dabei helfen soll Fehler zu beseitigen - soweit sogut, hab ich halt alles brav befolgt, bis kein Fehler mehr vorhanden war - WLAN funzt aber noch immer nicht
Vielleicht kann mir hier einer helfen - Wäre für Ratschläge sehr dankbar
