Als user aufgerufen kam am Ende folgende Auswahlmöglichkeiten:

0 = usb = Universal Serial Bus (USB)

1 = net = Network/Ethernet/Wireless (direct connection or JetDirect)

q = quit

Habe dann quit ausgewählt, weil "parallel Port" da nicht stand.

Sollte ich da "1" wählen ?

Mir ist noch aufgefallen, dass es in meiner Repo Liste 2x ein Packman Repo gibt.

Eins hatte ich ja manuell mit Yast hinzugefürt. Das andere ist wohl durch die Codecs Installation angelegt worden.

Da muss doch bestimmt eins wieder entfernt werden...

Zumindest kann ich mit meiner Offline-Partition (openSUSE 15.5) noch immer drucken.

Danke. Habe beide Befehle aus Post #4 durchgeführt.

Das Printing Repo ist hinzugefügt und "parallel-printer-support" installiert.

Mit gleichem Ergebnis:

Yast findet den Drucker nicht automatisch.

Klicke ich im Yast auf "Verbindungsassisten", bringt mich das auch nicht weiter.

Nun ist aber bei "Verbindungsassistent > HPLIP" keine Auswahl mehr möglich, was ja eigentlich nicht stört. Es wird aber auch kein Drucker angezeigt. (Siehe Anlage "20260518-Foto3.jpg")

(zuvor in Post #1 war der parallel Port nicht auswählbar und grau hinterlegt).

Zusatzinfo:

Im meinem PC gibt es auf dem Mainboard keinen parallelen Port.

Ich habe dort eine Steck-Karte drin. Ich glaube PCIe oder PCI.

Wie kann ich sehen/erkennen/herausfinden, dass die unter Tumbleweed richtig erkannt wurde?

Vermutlich erst mal das Repo "Printing/openSUSE_Tumbleweed" hinzufügen?

(Bei Leap 15.6 konnte ich d den Drucker in Yast noch so installieren, ohne zusätzliche Repos. Aber ich bin ja jetzt bei Tumbleweed.)
