Hallo zusammen,
habe hier noch ein älteres Lenovo Netbook.
Dieses hatte ich seither immer unter Lubuntu betrieben, da ja der Atom-Prozessor auch nicht so viel hergibt.
Habe jetzt gesehen, daß Tumbleweed noch als 32-bit Installation verfügbar ist, bei Lubuntu ist da ja schon Schluß.
Wollte mir Tumbleweed einfach auch mal anschauen, außerdem ist es Suse....
Die Installation hat ohne Probleme geklappt, und ich muß sagen, mit XFCE läuft die Kiste ganz flüssig.
Ich bekomme das WLAN nicht zum laufen, Packman Repo ist installiert, auch broadcom-wl und broadcom-wl-kmp-default.

Beim Rechner meiner Tochter musste ich beim Upgrade von Leap 15.1 auf 15.2 ebenfalls auf den Nouveau Treiber umsteigen, da die weitere Nutzung der NVIDIA Treiber nur mit großem Aufwand möglich gewesen wäre. Ich muß aber sagen, der Nouveau funktioniert genauso gut, keine Einschränkungen, daher habe ich bei diesem Rechner gar nicht weiter versucht andere Lösungen zu finden.

Mich hat der verlinkte Thread etwas verwirrt, dieser ist ja doch recht umfangreich.
So habe ich die eigentlich einfache Lösung übersehen.
Völlig in Ordnung, das Problem gibt es ja eventuell noch mit mehreren NVIDIA Karten.
Ich weiß auch nicht wie es dann beim Wechsel zu Leap 15.4 ausschaut.
Mit dem Wechsel lasse ich mir immer relativ lange Zeit, also genau genommen warte ich immer fast bis zum Schluß.

beim updaten erhalte ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

Ist vermutlich ein Rechteproblem, der User darf nicht mehr per cifs einhängen.
Schau mal hier, ich hatte das Problem vor längerer Zeit auch schon mal, und konnte plötzlich nicht mehr auf mein Fritz-Nas zugreifen.
Konnte dann aber das Problem mittels diesem Beitrag lösen:
