Ich vermute mal das ist der falsche Treiber, du brauchst für openSUSE ein *.rpm Packet und kein *.deb
auf die Gefahr hin das ich gleich "gesteinigt" werde ich bin bei Mint gelandet (war auf meinem Laptop vor Installiert)

quite simple ..... wenn man die Errormessages lesen würde:
Zugriff auf '/usr/share/ppd/*.ppd' nicht möglich: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
ls: Zugriff auf '/usr/share/cups/model/*.ppd' nicht möglich: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
Was sagen uns diese Meldungen?
--> Der cups findet nicht einen Treiber (die benamsten .ppd Dateien). Daher streikt cups und erst Recht Dein Druckerzugriff ... ohne Treiber geht das nunmal nicht.

Ich habe die Installation wie gesagt per "Driver Installer Tool" gemacht..
da sind alle Treiber etc geladen worden. Werden mir auch Angezeigt.
Auch in den Ordneern sind die Dateien/Treiber Vorhanden...
Wie kriege ich Cups dazu das es den Drucker findet? Der Drucker lief ja bevor ich den Scanner gesucht habe und dann Installiert kriegte...

ABER Kein Druck und Drucker wird nicht Erkannt...
und wie kann ich das heraus finden???

ja das gebe ich in dem Browser ein... Und der sagt mir zugriff verweigert wegen Proxi und oder Firewall.. Proxy hab ich nicht und Firewall ist auch aus.
Sorry das ich das hier noch einmal Öffnen muß...
Aber jetzt nachdem der Scanner seinen Dienst verrichtet ist der Drucker weg und wird nicht mehr gefunden...
Ich kann auch nicht, wie zuvor, per Localhost auf den Drucker zugreifen.
Hat dazu noch wer ne Idee wie das jetzt wieder sein kann?
