Noch ne dumme Frage: Ich dachte das pipewire pulseaudio langsam ablösen sollte?
Eine genaue Aussage dazu (ebenfalls wie zu Nvidia, PackageKit, Discover, Wayland und weitere Kleinigkeiten) gibt von mir hier in diesem Forum nicht. Aber ganz so falsch liegst du nicht.
Es gäbe ein Paket Namens pipewire-alsa oder Pipwire-pulseaudio. Das letzte würde mir alle pulseaudio Pakete deinstallieren/ersetzten.
Nicht wirklich (Restinfo siehe Text zuvor).
VLC und SMPlayer können das auf jeden Fall (auch selbstständig). Ansonsten ist es auch über die „allgemeine“ Audioausgabe des Systems möglich, entweder so wie von Sauerland vorgeschlagen, oder Pipewire, oder über den KDE-Lautstärkeregler, oder …
Wie sieht die Auslastung des Systems denn aus, wenn du für dein Vorhaben einen Webbrowser wie Brave, Chromium, Google Chrome usw. verwendest?
Sicher, dass das etwas bringt?

Das ist aber kein Paket von PackMan, würde sonst so benannt sein: makemkv-1.17.8-150600.1.pm.1
Zeige doch die Ausgaben von:
cat /etc/os-releasezypper se -s makemkvzypper lr -dNachtrag:
War wieder viel zu langsam.
Vermutliche Ursache ist das Upgrade von Leap 15.5 auf 15.6 (KDE/Wayland).
Dann könnte auch mit der Ausgabe von:
zypper se -si | grep -Ei "systemp|System P"angefangen werden.

Funktioniert, aber libgdal34 wird noch immer benötigt. Ich würde aber nur das Geo-Repo fest hinzufügen und das Home-Repo nur temporär.
