Hab jetzt mal das probiert...

Drucker erscheint jetzt in CUPS und LibreOffice - aber es kommt noch nichts raus...

Vielleicht /dev/parport0 falsch???

Wenn jetzt die Installation per lz.install durch ist - wie mache ich dann weiter in

Dort finde ich keinen Z11 Drucker.... - was läuft also noch falsch???

Hallo Zusammen,

habe das Problem das ich einen alten Laptop den ich vorher mit opensuse 11.3 betrieben habe jetzt auf opensuse 12.1 installiert habe. An dem Laptop hängt noch per serieller Schnittstelle ein Lexmark Z11 Drucker dran und den würde ich wieder gerne zum drucken überreden. Hat ja mit 11.3 auch funktioniert - hatte damals zwar auch kurz Probleme aber ich habs hinbekommen. Habe mir folgenden Treiber besorgt -->

lz11-V2-1.2.tar.gz

Leider funktioniert lz11.install nicht zu 100% der Drucker lässt sich nicht zu einer Testseite überreden.

Was hab ich noch probiert - mit Yast2 das ppd File installieren - tut sich garnichts....

ppd File über die cups-Oberfläche testen - bringt auch einen Fehler -->

"/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed" sowas in der Art.

OK - hab gerade nochmal gegoogelt - PPD ist na nur ein Testfile für die Konfiguration des Druckers - wie kann ich den Treiber installieren? und warum macht das nicht lz11.install.

Vielleicht weiß jemand Rat?

Bis jetzt siehts mit der Firmware BETA 84.05.07-21008 besser aus...mal abwarten....

Nachtrag - nach weiteren Recherchen im Netz - werd ich heute Abend mal die Labor-Version der Firmware ausprobieren anbei mal ein Auszug des Changelog....

werde da irgendwie nicht schlau draus - heute Morgen wieder öfters Verbindungsproblem bekommen...

Die Fritz.Box 7390 hatte wohl 2010 mit der damals aktuellen FW Problem mit dem WLAN aber die sollten doch jetzt behoben sein.

Hab heute Morgen die Fritz.Box aus Verzweiflung auf Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt und nochmal komplett neu eingerichtet. irgendwie mag mein Samsung X20 mit Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG die neue Fritz.Box 7390 wohl nicht. Also alles wieder auf Anfang...

Hat denn jemand so ne Kombination erfolgreich am laufen? Mit welchen Einstellungen?
Bin jetzt schon so weit das ich mir die neuste Firmware von Intel für die WLAN-Karte runtergeladen haben aber die ist nicht mal so schnell installiert...

Bin für jeden Tipp dankbar!
