Hallo,
ich habe einen Acer n10 (windows mobile 2003) und mochte meine Kontakte via USB synchronisieren.
PC hat SuSE 11.4 32bit KDE 4.6
In der Hardware Info wird der PPC zwar an /dev/ttyUSB1 erkannt aber mehr auch nicht.

Auch mit einem Life-USB-Stick konnte ich nichts ausrichten (frißt mein Läppi nicht) deshalb habe ich mit doch ein externes DVD-Laufwerk besorgt und die SUSE neu installiert. Alles ist gut

Jauh, habe ich geändert
Läppi läuft nicht mehr, ist aber nicht so schlimm, denn ich habe ja noch einen PC,
da kann ich die USB-Platte anschließen, Dateien auslesen, bearbeiten und speichern.
Dauert nur...:cool: -

Hallo noch einmal
vielleicht bin ich ja nur zu blöde und habe mich falsch ausgedrückt, auf jeden Fall bin ich der Verzweifelung nahe...
Um meinem Läppi ohne CD/DVD-Laufwerk von Windoof zu befreien, habe ich Suse 11.3 auf einer USB-Festplatte installiert. Näturlich mit einem anderen PC.
Ich dachte, bau sie in's Läppi ein und alles ist gut aber nein Fehlermeldung: "hd1,1 file not found" Grub startet dann (Konsole), suche ich mir ein Menü aus, Startet der Rechner von vorne.
Starte ich die Platte über USB, siehe da, Läppi läuft prächtig, auch Internet und habe sogar Zugriff auf die interne Platte.
Ich möchte aber, daß es umgekehrt ist. Also Läppi normal starten und ggf. Daten auf einer beliebigen USB-Platte speichern und abrufen.
Bin dankbar für jede Hilfe
