    Aber, wie du ein USB-Stick autoboot-fähig macht , keine Ahnung.
    Wie du ohne cd-Lw ein B/S installieren möchtest , k. A. .

  • Webdav - Probleme mit "davfs2"

    Hallo,
    da du oSUSE 11.3 verwendest, hast du auch den FF , installier die das Add-On FireFTP.
    Zu finden ist es unter Extra im Browser.
    - Jetzt noch eine Frage, ist bei GMX der FTP-Zugang freigeschaltet ? -
    Dann kannst du normalerweise mit den WebDav Daten auch in FireFTP eine Verbindung zu GMX aufbauen.

    GRUB cannot boot DOS or Windows directly, so you must chain-load them
    (*note Chain-loading::). However, their boot loaders have some critical
    deficiencies, so it may not work to just chain-load them. To overcome
    the problems, GRUB provides you with two helper functions.


    If you have installed DOS (or Windows) on a non-first hard disk, you
    have to use the disk swapping technique, because that OS cannot boot
    from any disks but the first one. The workaround used in GRUB is the
    command `map' (*note map::), like this:


    grub> map (hd0) (hd1)
    grub> map (hd1) (hd0)


    This performs a "virtual" swap between your first and second hard
    drive.


    *Caution:* This is effective only if DOS (or Windows) uses BIOS to
    access the swapped disks. If that OS uses a special driver for the
    disks, this probably won't work.


    Another problem arises if you installed more than one set of
    DOS/Windows onto one disk, because they could be confused if there are
    more than one primary partitions for DOS/Windows. Certainly you should
    avoid doing this, but there is a solution if you do want to do so. Use
    the partition hiding/unhiding technique.


    If GRUB "hide"s a DOS (or Windows) partition (*note hide::), DOS (or
    Windows) will ignore the partition. If GRUB "unhide"s a DOS (or
    Windows) partition (*note unhide::), DOS (or Windows) will detect the
    partition. Thus, if you have installed DOS (or Windows) on the first
    and the second partition of the first hard disk, and you want to boot
    the copy on the first partition, do the following:


    grub> unhide (hd0,0)
    grub> hide (hd0,1)
    grub> rootnoverify (hd0,0)
    grub> chainloader +1
    grub> makeactive
    grub> boot

    Hallo ,
    es sieht aus , als ob der MBR ( Master Boot Record ) nicht mehr vorhanden ist. War jeden falls bei mir , fast immer der Fall.
    Wenn das der Fall ist , so ist folgendes Passiert :
    Durch installieren des Linux, wurde der MS-MBR überschrieben , da sich die Partitionieren geändert haben , beim Löschen, wurde der alte MBR nicht wiederhergestellt .
    Lösung :
    1. Entweder mit MS-Dos 6.22 Disketten, WinXX starten ; auf der MS-DOS-BOX fdisk/mbr eingeben.
    oder
    2. Reperatur von Vista anstoßen.
    oder
    3. SUSE 6.2 teil starten und fdisk/mbr eingeben.


    Der bevorzugte MBR ist der von MS.

    P.S.: Es gibt auch KNOPPIX-CD ( Linux ) und Bart-CD ( Win XP ) mit fdisk drauf.

    Ich verwende das Programm : FireFTP als Add-On in Firefox um auf meine Web-Verzeichnisse zuzugreifen.

    • Kannst du ein FTP-Verbindung benutzen ?


    • Was passiert, wenn du mit FTP eine Datei rüberschiebst ?


    • Werden im WebDav alle Dateigrößen angezeigt ?


    das soll nur das Problem einkreisen, ob es lokal ist oder ob es beim Privider ist.

  • Webdav - Probleme mit "davfs2"

    Hallo,
    eine Sau dumme Frage , hat ein GMX Server nicht auch Festplatten in sich, auf dem das B/S gespeichert ist. bzw. Benutzerdaten?
    Wenn ja, so hat bei mir das Prog. HDTune schon einige def. Sektoren entdeckt.
    3. Es könnte auch sein, das eine def. Datei das Lesen des Verzeichnis-Inhaltes verhindert, so das eine neue Datei in der Verzeichnis-DB nicht erzeugen lässt.
    Überprüfung : Eigenschaften alles Dateien prüfen, ob alle Eintrage vorhanden sind.
