Die hat ja nicht funktioniert - in den Slot hat sie gepasst aber vielleicht ist sie mit dem Mainboard nicht kompatibel.

Alles schön und gut - nur habe ich jetzt den Faden total verloren.
Es ist ja nett dass Du mir das alles erklären willst, aber in meinem Alter strebe ich keine Karriere als Administrator mehr an - da bin ich froh wenn ich die Kiste am Laufen halten kann wie ich es gewohnt bin.
Da ja vielleicht andere auch so ein Problem haben - poste doch bitte wie Du das an Deinem PC durchlaufen lässt so dass es ein alter Mann auch versteht. Wäre sehr nett von Dir - wirklich!
Also so eine Schritt für Schritt Anleitung damit wir oben endlich das erlösende Wort in die Titelzeile einfügen können.

IPV6 kann man mal lassen - das wird vielleicht noch gebraucht.
Ist ja OK, schön wäre es ja wenn man schneller starten kann, aber wenn nicht dann halt nicht...
Frage:
Wenn ich beim Starten mit ESC den SplashScreen ausschalte - konfiguriert sich das um und bleibt das dann so?

So, einmal habe ich es nun durchlaufen lasse -> 100% -> Pass 1
Fehler wurden im RAM keine entdeckt.
Ich denke, da ja in der Fehlermeldung etwas von pci steht, dass es mit einer Karte zu tun hat die im pci-Slot steckt.
Das könnte zum einen die GraKa sein oder die Karte mit dem LPT1.
Letztere tippe ich nicht weil die ja mit der Bildschirmanzeige nichts zu tun hat.
Also sollte es die GraKa sein - diese ist von ATI - die hier den Freeze verursacht.
Ich tippe auf ein Treiberproblem, was meint ihr?
