Als user aufgerufen kam am Ende folgende Auswahlmöglichkeiten:

0 = usb = Universal Serial Bus (USB)

1 = net = Network/Ethernet/Wireless (direct connection or JetDirect)

q = quit

Habe dann quit ausgewählt, weil "parallel Port" da nicht stand.

Sollte ich da "1" wählen ?

Es wurde lp nicht automatisch geladen.

Aber warten wir auf das OK von Sauerland, da mein letzter Drucker am Parallelport schon vor einigen Jahren entsorgt wurde und ich mir nicht zu 100% sicher bin, ob lp heute noch zusätzlich zum parport Modul geladen werden muss.
