ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad funktioniert nicht

Hallo.
Ich habe ein Packard Bell EasyNote TE69KB mit OpenSuse12.3 Kde.
Das Elantech Touchpad funktioniert überhaupt nicht bis selten sprunghaft. Die Tasten gehen überhautp nicht.
Nach den starten sagt Synaptiks das kein Touchpad vorhanden ist.
Auch nach intensiver Suche bei Google konnte ich das Problem nicht beheben.

Funktioniert der Touchpad bei der Anmeldung zu KDE?

Funktioniert es mit einem neu angelegten User?

Versuch mal synaptics neu zu installieren:

Leider hat nichts geholfen.
Das Touchpad funktioniert schon bei der Anmeldung nicht richtig.
Ab und an nach wiederholtem Herüber streichen bewegt sich der Zeiger ein wenig.

...und da Google diesbezügliche sehr viel hergibt, und wir nicht wissen was Du alles getestet und daraus gelernt hast, bleibt zum Helfen nicht viel Spielraum.

nach dem Starten kommt eine Meldung die sagt das kein touchpad gefunden wurde und falls der Treiber korrekt installiert und konfiguriert ist ich eine Fehlerangabe machen soll.

Wenn ich Synaptiks versuche zu starten öffnet sich nichts, also weiß ich auch nicht wie ich wo was konfigurieren könnte.

x11-input-mtrack und mtdev sind installiert. Leider keine Veränderung.
Einen neuen User habe ich erstellt, hat aber auch dort nicht funktioniert.
Auch Synaptikts selber habe ich neu insttalliert.
