Ich denke das ist so OK.

So Banshee läuft immer noch ,hat ab und zu mal eine Fehlermeldung aber läuft.

Das hat aber nichts damit zu tun, dass das Programm aus dem Terminal gestartet wurde. Das bedeutet nur, dass der Fehler eben bis jetzt nicht wieder aufgetreten ist.
Eine zuverlässige Aussage lässt sich nur dann treffen, wenn Du zumindest Banshee nach der Paketumstellung einmal neu gestartet hast. Besser wäre einmal ab und wieder anmelden, da eventuell auch gstreamer Komponenten ausgetauscht wurden (von OSS nach Packman). Da gstreamer in den Standardeinstellungen das phonon backend ist, und somit für alles zuständig, was mit Tonausgabe und Codecs unter KDE zu tun hat, ist das schon ein wesentlicher Bestandteil.

Optional kann man das phonon backend auch auf VLC umstellen, was wohl zukünftig auch der Standard sein wird.
Hierzu muss der VLC Player inklusive der Pakete

phonon-backend-vlc
vlc-codecs
installiert sein, damit auch proprietäre Formate laufen. Das Paket
Code
phonon-backend-gstreamer-0_10
kann man dann deinstallieren. Danach sollte man sich aber auch zumindest einmal ab und wieder anmelden.
Ich habe das jetzt schon seit einiger Zeit so laufen und kann nur Positives berichten.

Und ich dachte immer etwas mehr als wenn später was fehlt,dann sucht man
ja auch wieder den Fehler. Banshee aus dem Terminal läuft übrigens immer noch.
