Im YAST habe ich keinen Punkt namens "Sound"
Komme nur über "Control Center" -> "Sound"
Klangregler alle oben und Boxen funktionieren unter windows.
Ist ne Onboard (HDA NVidia) Soundchip.
Über alsaconf sagt er mir "no lagacy drivers are available"
Hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen.
Das System zu updaten ist nicht möglich da hier Software läuft die nur mit OpenSuse 11.4 compatible ist.
Ja ich weiß, dass es eigentlich kein Fehler ist, aber es hat eben nur so fuinktioniert.

So es hat jetzt geklappt.
Der Fehler war es heißt nicht ftp:// sondern http://

habe beide Treiber ausprobiert hat beides nicht gebracht.
Danke nochmal für die tolle Hilfe, auch wenn sie bis jetzt recht erfolglos war, aber da könnt ihr ja nichts für;)
Ich habe noch einen (fast) gleichen Rechner da. Der hat noch einen weiteren eintrag bei hwinfo --gfxcard
Und zwar:
Jetzt hab ich das "modprobe nvidia" auch an dem betroffenen Rechner versucht. leider Modul nicht vorhanden.
Wie komme ich an das Modul, bzw. den nVidia Treiber. Über das Reposotory gehts nicht, da meine Version 11.4 nicht mehr unterstützt wird:(
Und updaten kann ich auch nicht, da ich dann nicht weiß ob mein System (Bildschirmcluster) noch läuft.

Also hab gerade mal unter Yast -> Network Device -> Network settings geschaut.
Und da stimmt (leider) auch alles.
Wie gesagt, ich kann ja auch google und so pingen.

Man wenn das meine Kiste wäre würde ich sie einfach platt machen, aber da das ne Projektkiste ist und da wichtige Daten drauf sind ist das nicht möglich.

PS.: HAbe es jetzt mal mit YAST ausprobiert, dabei ist mir folgendes aufgefallen:
Das findet mein Browser auch nicht! Es gibt kein Ordner oder Datei media.1 in 11.4
Ja habe auch schon nen Reboot zwischen drin gemacht, keine verbesserung.
Die anderen Repos bekommt er und meldet die seien aktuell;)
Der Link funktioniert im Browser, habe ich auch versucht.
Muss man den Link vllt noch ergänzen?
Also sprich auf [...]/repodata, oder [...]/x86_64
Weil iwie will er ja nicht...

Ich habe doch keine GUI mehr...
Ich habe nur noch eine Kommandozeile.
Also Sprich nur noch den Eingabeprompt, die Maus kann ich gerade einfach in die Tonne werfen;)
Auf der Shell kann ich mich zwar einloggen, aber es bleibt eben der Prompt.
Oder geht das Yast auch ganz ohne GUI?

Die updates hab ich per "Install/Remove Software" (SoftwareMangaer YaST) gemacht.

P.S Hab auch mal probiert den Treiber zu aktivieren auch beim Systemstart (in boot.local)
aber das Problem bleibt.
