Mit dem Kernel Update vom 26.01.2023 auf .41 ist der Fehler erledigt.

Die Anweisungen aus diesem Thread haben zu einer (temporären) Lösung geführt:

if I copy this from .33 to .38 I am not able to reproduce the problem. Will use the system like this for now if it is the timeout that has changed but I don't think so, it looks like the issue is gone.

Falls ja, taugt es immerhin als Workaround, bis der Kernel gefixt ist.
Der alte Kernel 5.14.21-150400.24.33 mit Firefox 102.6.0esr funktioniert!

Firefox berichtet den folgenden Fehler:

dazu habe ich folgenden Eintrag im Bugzilla gefunden:

aber leider noch keine Abhilfe ...

Hallo, nach dem letzten Kernel-Update am 21.12.22 habe ich keinen Ton mehr über den an HDMI angeschlossenen Fernseher. Vor dem Update war alles OK. Auf dem Laptop habe ich weiterhin Ton über die internen Lautsprecher. Wenn ich dann auf HDMI-Ausgabe umschalte, ist der Ton weg. Starte ich dann Pulseaudio neu (pulseaudio -k), funktioniert der Ton auf HDMI bis ich das Video anhalte. Beim Neustart des Videos ist der Ton wieder weg. Das gilt für Video-Wiedergabe (Youtube über Firefox) als auch Musik-Wiedergabe über alle Music-Player (z.B. Guayadec).
