Es geht aber du benötigst das root-Passwort.
Du kannst das über die Konsole machen:
Konsole öffnen
su
eintippen und Enter. Jetzt musst du dein root-Passwort eingeben und danach
zypper up
mit Enter bestätigen und abwarten.
ODER
Du machst das über Yast -> Online-Aktualisierung
PS: Yast findest du, indem du Alt+F2 drückst und dann Yast eingibst.

Ich hab es nochmal probiert hab alles richtig gemacht aber in Yast geht immer noch nichts.
Deshalb behalte ich den Ralink und werde die Karte auf eBay verkaufen.

Auf der CD ist keine der beiden Dateien drauf, die in der Anleitung stehen.
Ich hab das Paket installiert und mal ndiswrapper in die Konsole eingegeben und da muss ich jetzt irgendeine .inf Datei installieren. Ichhabzwar noch die Original CD dazu aber da ist keine .inf Datei drauf, nur die autorun.inf.
