OS 15.4 - virtualbox - Kernel diver not installed - rc=1908 - trotz vboxconfig

Hallo zusammen.

Sicherlich im Bereich: Anfängerfrage....

Ich würde gerne unter suse 15.4 virtualbox verwenden.

Nach dem install habe ich die config ausgeführt. nachfolgender reboot brachte jedoch keinen Erfolg.

Da ja die Forensoftware aktualisiert wurde, dachte ich, ich sollte mal eine kurze Anleitung zur Bedienung des Editors schreiben.
Als Erstes denke ich, sollten die altbekannten code tags erwähnt werden. Das wurde im Gegensatz zur alten Software meiner Meinung nach wesentlich verbessert.
Im Screenshot habe ich das Icon markiert, das für das Einfügen der code tags zuständig ist. Icon drücken und den kopierten Text aus der Konsole einfügen.

Erstmal: Nutzt du Sled oder Leap 15.4?

Wie hast du Virtualbox installiert? Einfach die Pakete aus dem std. Repo? Dann sollte das Paket virtualbox-kmp-default installiert sein und du musst keine Module bauen.

Wenn du secure/trusted Boot aktiv hast, sind diese aber mit dem falschen Key signiert und werden nicht laden. Default hat Leap und auch sled nur den MOK für suse enterprise. Virtualboxmodule sind aber (wieso auch immer) mit dem Key von openSUSE signiert. Hierfür musst den den openSUSE Key installieren, den gibts zumindest bei Leap in openSUSE-signkey-cert Paket.

Danach musst du den mit mokutil installieren. Spätestens jetzt solltest du aber wissen was du tust.

Hallo.

Ich nutze Leap 15.4 und habe über Yast installiert. secureboot ist aktiviert. Sorry, den Rest muss ich mir heute abend ansehen. Das würde den Rahmen ander Arbeit sprengen.
