Hallo Linuxfreunde,
wieder einmal hab ich ein Problem(chen), das ich einfach nicht gebacken kriege.
Was unter Windows XP Prof so einfach zu bewältigen ist, wird für mich unter Linux, openSUSE 12.3 64bit, eine unüberwindbare Hürde.
Dabei möchte ich nur zwei (unterschiedliche!) Monitore im Dualview, wie es sich unter Windows nennt, betreiben.
Stelle ich unter nvidia-settings auf "Twinview" habe ich immer einen Panoramabildschirm bei dem Vollbildanwendungen in die Mitte gesetzt sind und somit auf beide Monitore verteilt sind.
Stelle ich auf "seperate X-Screen" ist nach Neustart mein Hauptmonitor (TFT) deaktiviert.
Ich hab bereits einige Tipps hier aus dem Forum zu ähnlichen, aber halt nicht die gleichen, Problemen probiert, wobei nix geholfen hat.
Irgendwie dreh ich mich im Kreis ohne einen Ausgang zu finden.
Deshalb hoffe ich, dass mir jemand einen Rat, Tipp oder Hinweis geben kann, der mich zum Ziel führt.
