Ich habe das jetzt so verstanden das ich die
/etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf bearbeiten soll.
doch ich finde bei mir keine modprobe.conf

Du solltest uns mitteilen was genau Du gemacht hast.

Auch etwelche Folgen (Fehlermeldungen, anderes Verhalten des Pads, etc.) solltest Du uns wissen lassen (auch wenns nur eine scheinbar unwichtige Sache ist).

Anderenfalls haben wir hier keine Ahnung.

Poste mal bitte die Ausgabe von:

ok also letztes habe ich in die 99.local options psmouse proto=imps eingetragen und neugestartet.
Ich bekomme aber weiterhin die Meldung das kein Touchpad gefunden wurde und der Cursor bewegt sich auch weiterhin sprunghaft und ungenau. Also keine Veränderung.

Ich habe dies hier gefunden https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=53355 was denke ich auf mich zutrifft sich aber auf grub legacy bezieht und ich nicht weiß ob es ratsam ist auf grub legacy umzustellen.

...hast Du einen proprietären Grafik Driver installiert? Wenn ja, kannst Du diese Error Meldung ignorieren. Allenfalls die glarmoregl Zeile in "/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/05-glamor.conf" entfernen.

Die "ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad" Zeilen muss ich mir noch genauer anschauen.

Hast Du "x11-input-mtrack" sowie "mtdev" wie von mir vorgeschlagen (Beitrag 7) installiert?

Wenn ich Deine Log Dateien richtig gelesen habe hast Du eine 'wireless' Maus. Was geschieht (bez. dem Touchpad) wenn Du den USB-Receiver entfernst und dann ein Reboot machst?
