Hallo zusammen,
nachdem ich gestern eine Neuinstallation von openSUSE 13.2 durchgeführt habe, stehe ich heute vor folgendem Problem:
Beim Booten des Systems steht der Ladevorgang bei Default-Hintergrundbildschirm und läuft nicht weiter durch. Startet man das System mit den erweiterten Einstellungen im Wiederherstellungsmodus und man sieht die Konsolenausgabe u.a. mit der Meldung
Failed to start X Display Manager.
Hier habe ich die Möglichkeit mich anzumelden und auch via startx KDE zu starten.

Das Verzeichnis /etc/X11/xorg.conf.install besteht tatsächlich nicht mehr. Aus journalctl -r kopiere ich mal alle rot markierten Einträge:

Ich hab vor dem Neustar einen HP-Laserjet 1020 via Yast und HPLIP eingerichtet, was ja möglicherweise im Zusammenhang mit dieser Meldung aus dem Journal steht:
