Upgrade auf 15.4: util-linux "Es ist kein offizielles Paket für openSUSE Leap 15.4 verfügbar"

Hallo zusammen,

ich versuche mich am Ugrade von 15.3 auf 15.4.

zypper dup meldet aber, dass er für util-linux-2.37.2 keine Provider findet.

In der Tat steht auf https://software.opensuse.org/package/util-linux: "Es ist kein offizielles Paket für openSUSE Leap 15.4 verfügbar"

Wenn ich das recht verstehe, dann ist util-linux nach dem Kernel aber der wesentlichste Teil am ganzen OS.

Wie kann das funktionieren?

Die ersten Themen lassen sich alle mit einem Wechsel von Packman auf OpenSUSE beheben. Aber beim Letzten erscheint mir keine Variante sinnvoll. Ich möchte nach dem Upgrade weder ohne Kernel noch ohne mount/etc. dastehen.

Sorry, ah, nichts. Mit ist nicht bewusst, dass das nicht normal ist. Vermutlich war der Kernel Voraussetzung für den amdgpu-pro Treiber?

Danke für die Hilfe bisher, aber selbst wenn ich einen ungewöhnlichen Kernel habe verstehe ich nicht, wie util-linux aufgelöst werden soll, wenn "Es ist kein offizielles Paket für openSUSE Leap 15.4 verfügbar" ???

Was willst du damit? Sollte normalerweise schon alles im System sein. Zumindest bei mir und auch wohl bei jeder anderen normalen Installation. Nur util-linux-systemd ist für 15.4 verfügbar.

Nur als Info:

Repos die aktiv sind sollten auch den refresh eingeschaltet haben......

Allerdings entzieht es sich meiner Kenntnis, warum man das AMD Repo einbinden sollte, der Treiber ist im Kernel, ansonsten gibt es noch kernel-stable-backports
