Ein Nummernkreuz (aka. #Hashtag) ist ein Kommentarzeichen.
Steht es am Anfang einer Zeile, so wird diese Zeile als Kommentar behandelt und eben NICHT ausgeführt.
Du solltest in obigen Dateien die Zeilen, in denen Lexmark steht einschalten, also das Nummernkreuz löschen.
Dann probieren, oder besser noch: abmelden und dann probieren.
(Ich habe keine Lexmarkgeräte; keine Ahnung, ob Ab- und Anmelden nötig)

Wenn ich aber mit meinem bescheidenen Englischkenntnissen die PDF Datei lese
geht es hauptsächlich um Wireless oder Ethernet?
Betreibe aber den Drucker/Scanner an einem USB-Kabel
Wie gesagt: Wenn ich im Yast unter Konfiguration des Scanners die Zeile
lexmark-scan Lexmark MX410de an lexmark_nscan:libusb/001/003 anwähle und dann den Test durchführe, erhalte ich:
lexmark_nscan erfolgreich getestet
Test mit 'scanimage -d lexmark_nscan:libusb/001/003 -v' erfolgreich.
Ergebnis:

ich schon wieder.
Habe gerade unter root xsane gestartet.
Unter root ist scannen möglich. Hier wird der richtige Treiber in der obigen Programmleiste "Lexmark MX410 de an lexmark_nscan:libusb/001/003" angezeigt.
Bei user wird in der Programmleiste Lexmark Network an Lexmark:nscan:libnet/SPECIFY_DEVICE angezeigt.
Wahrscheinlich liegt da der Fehler. Nur wie kann ich das für user ändern?
