W-Lan bei Alice

Hallo

mein laptop:

Intel Core i3-370m, Arbeitsspeicher 4GB, Festplatte 500Gb, LCD
Bildschirm 39,6 cm, Grafikkarte GeForce GT 420M, W-LAN IEEE 802.11b/g/n,

habe die 32bit von Suse 12.1 installiert.

Ich bin beim Anbieter Alice ( W-Lan Router ) nun meine Frage ....

Ich mußte feststellen der der Seitenaufbau zu langsam ist. Darum habe ich die Einstellungen vom Networkmanager nochmal nachgesehen. DCHP Adresse Automatisch beziehen, ivp4 aktiviert, ivp6 deaktiviert, dann das ist mir aufgefallen wird der Kanal auch automatisch und das g/n der W-lankarte auch automatisch eingestellt.
der Router ist auf Kanal 9 eingestellt und W-Lankarte auf g/n, stelle ich das manuell im Networkmanager ein, läuft der Seitenaufbau zügig wie es sein sollte.
und jetzt komm's schalte ich den Rechner aus um ihn stunden später wieder einschalte, kann die W-Lan Verbindung nicht hergestellt werden. Ich kann nicht mal den Router direkt aufrufen.
Stelle ich alles wieder zurück auf Automatisch, klappt die verbindung wieder.
Hat der Router eine Macke oder ich einen Denkfehler? Ich mache sage ihm doch nur direkt gehe auf Kanal 9 um das automatische suchen zu umgehen.

ein Gedankenschupzer in die richtige Richtung wäre nicht schlecht

ich schätze mal das du da besser zurande kommst, wie ich. Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe ist Kanal 2 oder 8 besser, also stärker als Kanal 9.
Außerdem ist mir aufgefallen das der Router /i statt n/g benutzt.
bin ich da auf der richtigen fährte oder eine Saggasse.

die IP Adresse ist doch aber von der Netzwerkkarte, wenn der Rechner mit einem anderen verbunden wird.
hat doch mit der W-Lan Karte nichts zu tun.
oder habe ich da schon wieder einen Denkfehler?

habe es nach der Anweisung die IP Adresse mit einer Raute auskommentiert und restart durchgeführt.

der Seitenaufbau ist schneller geworden.
jetzt wurde mir der Grund interressieren. Da ich bei der W-Lan Einrichtung, bei eth0 das Häkchen rausgenommen habe und nur bei wlan0 es belassen hatte, dürfte die IP Adresse bei W-Lan doch garnicht auftauchen, bin ich jetzt ein wenig durcheinander.
